Cosmos

This is Cosmos.

It is written in Kanji-Chinese character as「秋桜」.

<秋> is Autumn and <桜> is Cherry Blossoms .

It means 'innocence of virgin' in the language of flowers.

I love it because in other words, Cosmos is the Universe.

I think that it expresses our own small Universe in this world.

I composed some pieces of Tanka  when I started to learn it.

I picked up one of them and posted here.

Florets continue blooming

I'm walking up

the slope where Cosmos Flowers

become brighter into the Universe

地を巡り 小花咲きつぐ 秋桜の 宙へ明るむ 坂道をゆく

This blog is for pictures that I took on the way of almost walking.

It mists deeply 5:50 A.M., this morning.

Most of rice plants haven't been harvested, yet.
The breed type of rice plants is 'Akita Komachi'.
The name comes from Ono-no- Komachi, who was a representative Kajin  of Waka, now Tanka, in Heian Period .
It is said that she was so beautiful and born in Akita.
